heaven.
a poem by Aaron Mimosa
It’s been intoxicating days
feeling the heat of your body,
still pressed against mine
Wobbling heels click concrete
Hugged by the warmth of Summer’s night
It’s a rare occurrence when
I forget to fortify my body
And surrender to the hands of another
When flesh meets flesh,
A moment
you didn’t have to show me a love like that
one that I’d never felt before
this never-ending come down,
I come so hard
I went to heaven
your jet-black hair coiled around my fingertips
reminding me of the night
will you let the world burn for me
is that too much to ask?
